The Hombu Dojo Japan, October 2010. Seen above from left: Gary, Jason, Soke and Lee. Even at 80 years of age, we watched our Grandmaster overcome attacks as a giant would play with a child.

Whilst training in Japan it was a huge honour to be promoted by the mighty Nagato Sensei: From left, Paul Gillard – Shodan, Gary Egerton – Nidan, Nagato Sensei, Jason – Godan Shidoshi and Lee Maddicks – Nidan.

At home, congratulations to Jonathan Lees who passed his Shodan test. He successfully planned and taught four main classes and finished with randori techniques from the rest of the group. Well done and Gambatte to all our students.
